Archiving a property allows you to “hide” a property for day-to-day use, without actually deleting the property entirely.
For example, you may have sold a property at the beginning of the year. Prior to selling the property, you had a few repairs, as well as closing costs that you had to pay as part of the sale process. You want to track those expenses via Rentastic, but you also don’t want the property showing up in your dashboard until next tax season, when you can finally delete the property once and for all.
Archiving allows you to keep the historical data for tax purposes, but hides said property from your main dashboard and properties screens.
Note: Archived properties will still show in some report and property drop-down menus until you completely remove/delete the property.
