Rentastic uses a third-party service called Plaid to link to your bank accounts and other financial institutions, in order to import transactions. Although it’s rare, there may be times when the transactions loaded into Rentastic don’t match those at your bank.
Most often, this is due to your bank not reporting new transactions to Plaid, or simply doesn’t not allowing transaction information to be shared at all. If this is the case, Rentastic will not be able to display those transactions as expected.
You do, however have a few options if you’re missing bank transactions:
- You can bulk import missing transactions using the “Import CSV” feature.
- Reach out to Rentastic support, to see if we can rectify the issue. Sometimes, we may need to re-link your bank account.
- Notify your bank that your transactions are not being reported to Plaid.
- Manually import your bank transactions using the “Add Transaction” button at the top-right hand corner of the Transactions page.
