First, let’s talk about what causes duplicate transactions. This could happen due to multiple reasons:
- You have added or imported transactions from a bank account that is already linked.
- Your linked bank account with Rentastic uploaded them using our third-party service Plaid after you manually added or imported your transactions.
Rentastic’s goal is to make sure that this would never happen, however, the situation may be beyond our control. What we want to assure you is that we are working on further improvements in our system to avoid this kind of situation.
